Full-back Luke Dorn is back in the Castleford Tigers squad for the sixth round Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie against Salford Red Devils at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle on Saturday.
The experienced Australian has missed the last eight games with a hamstring injury, but is back in the 19-man squad, which also sees Ryan Boyle and Larne Patrick back in with Andy Lynch out with a broken fibula and syndesmosis injury.
Youngsters Will Maher and Conor Fitzsimmons are the other two to drop out of the 19.
Head coach Daryl Powell said: “Things have been quite tough for us as you will know from an injury perspective but I thought last week was a really positive step in the right direction.
“Our defensive toughness, which will certainly be tested on Saturday, was a massive improvement and we are looking to be consistent in this area for the rest of the season. Attitude is a big thing in the league and ours was right where it needed to be last week.”
“The Challenge Cup competition is obviously a very special one to us all, and there is no doubt this will be a tough game in which we will need to be right at our best.”
Fans can pick up discounted tickets until 4pm on Friday, with additional discounts for season ticket holders.
