Voting has now opened for an annual awards ceremony that rewards people who have made a difference in their community.
The third Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) Love Where You Live Awards take place in October.
Mr and Mrs Clayton, from Pennine View, Upton, are nominated for the best neighbourhood award while Havercroft Children’s Centre is up for the community group award.
Sarah Chatham, WDH’s resident involvement manager, said: “Many people work hard to make our district such a great place to live and our Love Where Your Live Awards honour the very best.”
Award categories include best neighbourhood, working with older people, working with younger people, green hero, young achiever, good neighbour and community group.
