A MEDIEVAL battle is being prepared as the main attraction at this year’s South Hiendley Gala.
The 12th annual gala will see a street parade down Main Street before the main event at the Welfare Ground is kicked off by Radio Aire DJ Danny Mylo.
The main act will be a medieval battle re-enactment, but there will also be fun for all the family with refreshments and stalls, and entertainment from majorettes, dancers, children’s rides and bouncy castles.
The community event on Saturday, July 7, will start with the parade at 12.30pm.
The gala will run until 4.30pm with the main act of battle re-enactment will start at 2pm.
