Back row forward Oliver Holmes misses out through injury as Castleford Tigers look to defend their unbeaten start to the season against St Helens at Langtree Park on Friday night.

Holmes has been left out of the 19-man squad for the game after picking up a groin injury and has been replaced by Gadwin Springer, who has earned his first call-up of the year.

After an impressive double try scoring Super League debut, Jy Hitchcox retains his place in the squad after being drafted in just 10 minutes before kick-off last week when Joel Monaghan pulled out of the warm up with a back injury.

Castleford fans will be travelling over in numbers, but a limited amount of tickets are still available to buy from the Tigers Den club shop in Carlton Lanes. Fans will still be able to pay on the night at St Helens for entry into the away fans East Terrace.
