Cannabis farm uncovered

PC Mark Dunkley and PC Alan Tissington attended at a house on Wesley Street, South Elmsall on Monday 9th April .  There was a strong smell of cannabis coming from a house so the officers attended at the house which was searched and found 12 full sized cannabis plants in the loft.  The 28year old male occupant was arrested and charged with production of cannabis and he will be attending Pontefract magistrates Court in the near future.

A CANNABIS farm has been uncovered in South Elmsall.

PC Mark Dunkley and PC Alan Tissington, from the South Kirkby neighbourhood police team, searched a house on Wesley Street on Monday, April 9, after noticing a strong smell of cannabis coming from the property. They found 12 full sized cannabis plants in the loft.

A 28-year-old man was arrested and charged with production of cannabis.

He is due to appear before Pontefract Magistrates’ Court in the near future.
