Cannabis crop raided

Police attended at an address on Broadway terrace, South Elmsall this morning.  The officers executed a warrant at the address and found �3,000 worth of cannabis being dried having just been harvested.  The 24 year old male occupant will receive a conviction.' POLICE found cannabis worth £3,000 in a raid on a South Elmsall home on Monday.

Officers from the South East neighbourhood police team executed a warrant at an address on Broadway Terrace on Monday morning.

They found cannabis with a street value of £3,000 being dried out having just been harvested. A 24-year-old man received a police caution.

Sgt Katy Woodmason said: “The South East NPT are committed to dealing with any reports of drugs offences.
