children’s book favourite Hairy Maclary jumps off the page and onto the stage with a new show coming to Theatre Royal Wakefield next week.

Hairy Maclary and Friends is an official stage adaptation of Lynley Dodd’s much-loved children’s books, presenting an assortment of animal antic for all the family.

Audiences will adore meeting many of their favourite characters, such as Hercules Morse, as big as a horse; Bottomley Potts, covered in spots; Schnitzel von Krumm, with the very low tum and Scarface Claw, the toughest tomcat in town.

This smash-hit show is packed with live music, singing and five of your favourite Hairy Maclary books.

Sing along and do the actions with all the characters. Hairy Maclary and Friends is a summertime treat – you’d be barking mad to miss it!

Hairy Maclary and Friends visits Theatre Royal Wakefield from Monday June 11 to Wednesday June 14 at 11am and 1.30pm.
