BRITISH Red Cross volunteers are dedicated to helping people in crisis, both at home and overseas.
Demands on their services are growing as the recession hits hard the most vulnerable members of communities right across the UK. From providing support to those caught up in large-scale emergencies to offering a helping hand to someone recently home from hospital, the Red Cross is needed now more than ever.
On behalf of the Red Cross, I am appealing for your support of Red Cross Appeal Week in May.
