K DAY: Today at Hemsworth Library, you can enjoy a programme of events to celebrate World Book Day. Starting at 10am, the morning will include book discussion and coffee, freshly made smoothies and family history taster. WOMEN'S WORLD DAY OF PRAYER: Everyone is welcome to a service prepared by the Christian women of Cameroon, to celebrate Women's World Day of Prayer. Service takes place at 2pm tomorrow at the methodist church in Hemsworth.
SALVATION ARMY SOCIAL EVENTS: Line dancing lessons every Monday at 1.30pm. Coffee morning and table top sale every Tuesday, 9am-11am. On Thursday the home league ladies meeting is at 2pm, followed by tea and biscuits. All the events are at the Bush Street Hall in Hemsworth.
ST HELEN'S COFFEE MORNING: After mass at 9.30am on Saturday there will be a coffee morning with stalls and refreshments, 10am-11.30am, at St Helen's Church, Hemsworth.
FREESTYLE DANCE CLASSES: Kids aged five to 12 will be able to join classes in freestyle dance over the next three weeks at Hemsworth Arts & Community College. Lessons run 3.45pm to 4.45pm in the sports centre. Classes cost 50p per lesson and are taken by a qualified teacher. Contact Jo or Sue on 01977 624246 for more.
