SUMMER FUN: The Sacred Heart church is holding a summer fair on Saturday, July 11, starting at 10am. Stalls will include tombola, cakes, white elephant, bottles, soft toys and glassware. There will be
entertainment by a brass band and magician, with a bouncy castle and penalty shoot-out for the youngsters as well as refreshments.

CHOICE: In response to a recent patient consultation, Hemsworth Southmoor Surgery and Stockingate Surgery in South Kirkby now hold extra GP surgeries one evening a week. It gives greater choice to all
patients who may prefer evening appointments. Stockingate runs this service on Tuesday evenings 6.30pm-8.55pm, Southmoor is Wednesday 6.30pm-8.55pm. Both sessions also have a nurse on duty.

GOOD NEWS: Congratulations to all who worked to get the state-of-the-art sports zone outdoor gym at Hemsworth Arts and Community College. It is the first one outside London and it's not very often we get such benefits ahead of others.
