True act of goodwill

Following the snow last week elderly and disabled residents in our area received a lovely surprise when they all had a bag of sand delivered to their door to improve underfoot conditions on their drives and paths.

This act of goodwill did not come from the council but from two good samaritans from the charity shop ‘A Little Hope’ on Barnsley Road.

This was a lovely gesture from these caring people and sends a message to our district and parish councils on how to help their local parishioners.

Well done to these two caring people.
