Mystery of PCT absence
AT the inaugural patient and public participation meeting held in Upton Village Hall, parish chairman S Hodson called for a list of complaints to be put to the PCT, who were to be asked to attend the next meeting, scheduled for Wednesday, March 17.
No-one from the PCT was at that second meeting to answer complaints, but recently-elected parish councillor Lee Pickin reported that someone from the PCT would have come, but he (Coun Pickin) had been told not to press for such attendance.
He also stated he wasn't in a position to reveal the name of the person making that request.
There was quite a degree of resentment shown by members of the public, and no-one in the hall came forward to throw any light on the mystery.
Who is that person, and what are his, or her motives?
Listening to comments and rumours, both inside and outside the meeting, there appears to be good reasons for the concern of the people of Upton, regarding the state of the health services at Upton,
The residents are right to show their support for Dr Prasard.
Once amenities or promises are lost, they are lost forever.
