Enough is Enough
ONCE again the Five Towns is the poor relation to the rest of the Wakefield area.
The community in Hemsworth fought to keep its sports stadium but were ignored.
The residents in South Kirkby fought against the incinerator but were sold out.
The residents of East and West Avenue, South Elmsall, did not want the monster warehouse that is Next overshadowing their property and were scorned.
Residents in Upton challenged the need for a factory in the middle of the village and the factory is there for all to see. The theme is becoming monotonous.
We now have the prospect of a traveller site at the gateway to the village and it does not take a clairvoyant to predict the outcome.
Which of our councillors will stand up now and make their views known to us the people that vote for you?
Are you for or against?
I feel enough is enough!
We want to regenerate these once proud communities, not degenerate!
