Costs when it was closed
I SEE Hemsworth Town Council's expenses for The Windsurfer at Hemsworth Water Park were £30,000 last year. What I would like to know if how this figure was arrived at when the building was closed?
I presume I will be told it is caused by repairs and vandalism, but surely that should be covered by insurance?
I understand that an architect has been in and a meeting has been held to show their drawings for approval.
At how much cost to the ratepayers?
The money spent on the architect would have been better spent removing the asbestos off the West End allotments.
At a meeting I was informed there was no money for this, but money can be found for an architect?
