Cheers for fundraising

On behalf of patients, volunteers and staff at Prince of Wales Hospice, thank you to all involved for their donation of £64.96 from Gemma Jimmison and Lisa O'Brien's 'pub crawl'.

This donation will help the hospice continue to offer physical and emotional support for people suffering life-limiting illnesses, including cancer, motor neurone disease and heart failure.

We offer care for around 200 people on the hospice ward each year, while nearly 1,500 visits are made to our day hospice. Whether staying with us, or just visiting for the day, patients can receive personal medical care, dedicated nursing, therapies and support.

Making this specialist care available costs more than 1.5m each year, of which just a third comes from the NHS. The support of local groups is therefore vital to maintain the hospice and allow it to offer free treatment to the people of the Five Towns and wider area.

Please be assured your donation will make a difference and thank you once again for your thoughtfulness and support.
