SMITH - SWAIN Mr and Mrs M. Smith of Manor Rise, Walton are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Victoria Charlotte Smith to Laurie Ian Swain, son of Mr and Mrs A. Swain of Parkway, Wallasey on Saturday, 14 July 2012. The bride and groom met at Newcastle Law School and Victoria, who is now a Barrister, will take up a position with Charter Chambers, London on their return from honeymoon. Laurie is an Associate at the global law firm Clyde & Co, Manchester. The ceremony was held at the church of St Michael and Our Lady, Nostell Priory, Wragby and the bride wore an embroidered Sophia Tolli satin gown with a cathedral train, shoulder length veil and tiara. The bridesmaids, Miss Rachel Ward, Miss Lucia Granelli and Miss Rebecca Filletti, wore stunning emerald green dresses with heart shaped bouquets and the flower girl, Miss Georgia Love wore an ivory dress with green sash. The best man was Mr David Stew and the groomsmen were Mr Mark Smith and Mr Mathew and Benjamin Swain.
