Give Steve a chance in Castleford Tigers job

After reading all the comments made in regards to Castleford Tigers appointing Steve Gill as their new chief executive (Express April 18), I have just two questions of the contributors:

A referendum is required

I attended the Hemsworth Town Council annual meeting on April 18.

Is this democracy in action?

Anyone who attended the annual town meeting for Hemsworth on April 18 must think we live in an undemocratic country.
